Sausage Cheese Balls
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 | lbs | Jimmy Dean sausage (16oz), uncooked |
| 1 1/2 | cup | all-purpose baking/biscuit mix |
| 4 | oz | sharp cheddar cheese (or 4 cups shredded) |
| 1/4 | cup | onion, finely chopped |
| 1/4 | cup | celery, finely chopped |
| 1/4 | tsp | garlic powder |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 375 degrees. |
| 2. | Shred cheese and mix all ingredients. |
| 3. | Form into 1-inch balls. |
| 4. | Bake 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown. Makes about 35. NOTE: Sausage cheese balls can be frozen uncooked. NOTE: For a firmer texture, add an extra 3 cups of baking/biscuit mix and an extra 2 cups of shredded cheddar to the ingredients listed above. |
