Berry Mint Iced Tea
Lemon lime soda adds refreshing carbonation to this strawberry-mint tea. Stir it in just before serving to maximize the effect.Recipe Ingredients:
| 2 | cup | boiling water |
| 2 | family-size tea bags | |
| 1/4 | cup | firmly packed fresh mint leaves |
| 10 | oz | frozen whole strawberries, partially thawed |
| 3 | Tbsp | sugar |
| 4 | cup | lemon lime soda, chilled |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | In saucepan, pour 2 cups boiling water over tea bags and mint leaves; cover and steep 5 minutes. Remove tea bags from water, squeezing gently. |
| 2. | Pour tea mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a blender or food processor; add strawberries and sugar. Process until strawberries are pureed, stopping to scrape down sides. |
| 3. | Pour tea mixture through a wire-mesh strainer, discarding solids. Stir in soda just before serving. Serve over ice. Yield: 6 1/2 cups. |
