Banana Bread
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 3/4 | cup | flour |
| 2 | tsp | baking powder |
| 1/4 | tsp | baking soda |
| 3/4 | tsp | salt |
| 1/4 | cup | shortening |
| 2/3 | cup | sugar |
| 2 | eggs | |
| 1 | cup | mashed bananas (2 or 3) |
| 1/2 | cup | broken pecan pieces |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | First mash bananas - set aside. In one bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. |
| 2. | In another bowl cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy; add eggs. Beat well. Add bananas and mix. Add flour mixture gradually, while beating. Stir in pecans. |
| 3. | Pour in WELL GREASED loaf pan. Bake at 350F for 50 to 60 minutes. |
