Cuban Pork Roast
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 | 5lb pork shoulder butt (approximate) | |
| 2 | bitter (ungrafted) oranges or 1 bottle (24oz) Goya bitter orange | |
| 1 | clove | garlic |
| oregano | ||
| Goya Adobo seasoning | ||
| salt |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Poke holes in the pork roast, and with your fingers, push minced garlic into the holes. |
| 2. | Place the pork roast in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. Form the foil to make a bowl around the roast. |
| 3. | Pour the bitter orange over the roast. Salt the pork. Add Adobo seasoning. Sprinkle with oregano. |
| 4. | Carefully close the foil around the roast. Cook in oven at 250 degrees for 8 – 10 hours covered in foil. Remove the foil and cook at 350 degrees for about an hour. Serve with Black Beans or Black-eyed Peas. |
