Angel Crisps
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1/2 | cup | sugar |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar |
| 1 | cup | shortening |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla |
| 2 | cup | flour |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 1 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1 | tsp | cream of tartar |
| water for dipping | ||
| sugar for dipping |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla and egg. Add dry ingredients. |
| 2. | Roll in walnut size balls. Dip top in water, then in sugar. Place sugar side up. Dent top with finger. |
| 3. | Bake at 350F for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Put on cooling racks until cool. Store in an air tight container. |
