Aunt Sarah's Cream Cheese Cake
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 1/2 | cup | sugar |
| 1 1/2 | Tbsp | flour |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla extract |
| 4 | eggs | |
| 1 1/2 | Tbsp | cornstarch |
| 16 | oz | cream cheese |
| 1/2 | stick butter | |
| 1 | lbs | Polly-O ricotta cheese |
| 1 | pt | sour cream |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream 1/2 stick of butter with 1 & 1/2 cups sugar. Add 16oz cream cheese and 1 lb ricotta. Beat well. Add 4 eggs one at a time. Add 1 tsp vanilla, 1 & 1/2 Tbl flour and 1 & 1/2 Tbl cornstarch. Fold in 1 pint of sour cream. |
| 2. | Pour into a greased and floured spring form pan. CAUTION: Make sure pan seals well! |
| 3. | Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees Let cake cool, then refrigerate before serving. Note: You can put cherries (Comstock pie filling) or any other fruit topping on top when cool. |
