Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 1/4 | cup | butter or margarine, softened |
| 2 | cup | sugar |
| 2 | eggs | |
| 2 | tsp | vanilla |
| 2 | cup | unsifted all purpose flour |
| 3/4 | cup | cocoa |
| 1 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 2 | cup | chocolate chips |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. |
| 2. | Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips. |
| 3. | Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 8-9 minutes. (Do not over bake; cookies will be soft. They puff while baking and flatten while cooling.) Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet. Makes 4 1/2 dozen. |
