Irish Nut Newtons (crust)
Recipe Ingredients:
| 3/4 | lbs | butter (3 sticks, softened) |
| 1 | pkg | (8oz) cream cheese, softened |
| 3 | cup | flour |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Blend the butter & cream cheese which have been softened at room temperature. Add flour and blend with a fork. |
| 2. | Press together with hands to form a dough. Pinch off small pieces to make 48 one inch balls. Flatten each ball and fit into the gem tart pan (greased). See Irish Nut Newtons (filling) recipe. |
