Westville Gingerbread
A moist & fluffy ginger bread loaf, served in squares.Recipe Ingredients:
| 4 | cup | plain flour |
| 2 | tsp | cinnamon |
| 4 | tsp | baking powder |
| 2 | tsp | allspice |
| 2 | tsp | ginger |
| 1/2 | tsp | baking soda |
| 4 | eggs | |
| 1 | cup | syrup |
| 1 | cup | sugar |
| 1 | cup | margarine |
| 1 | cup | boiling water |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Sift the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, allspice, ginger, and baking soda together. |
| 2. | Mix together the eggs, syrup, sugar, and margarine. Add alternately with the boiling water to the dry ingredients. |
| 3. | Pour into a large greased pan and bake at 350F until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
