Ever-So-Easy Fruitcake
Recipe Ingredients:
| 2 1/2 | cup | unsifted flour |
| 1 | tsp | baking soda |
| 2 | eggs, slightly beaten | |
| 1 | jar | (28oz) mince meat |
| 1 | can | (14oz) sweetened condensed milk |
| 2 | cup | (1 pound) mixed candied fruit |
| 1 | cup | coarsely chopped walnuts |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 300F. Generously grease and flour a 9 or 10-inch tube pan. Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside. |
| 2. | In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Turn out of pan. Cool completely. Glaze and garnish as desired. Tip: To store cake, cool thoroughly; wrap well in aluminum foil and refrigerate or freeze. |
