Sour Cream Cake
Recipe Ingredients:
| 2 | sticks Oleo or butter | |
| 3 | cup | sugar |
| 6 | eggs, yolks & whites separated | |
| vanilla & almond flavoring (either or both if desired) | ||
| 3 | cup | flour |
| 1/4 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1 | container | (8oz) sour cream |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream butter & sugar together; add egg yolks one at a time, mixing well. |
| 2. | Add the flour & baking soda alternately with the sour cream. |
| 3. | Add egg whites, beaten stiff. |
| 4. | Bake in large tube pan, well greased for 1 hour at 350F. Turn up heat the last few minutes (10 to 15) to brown well. |
