Christmas Balls
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1/2 | lbs | Oleo or butter |
| 2 | cup | light brown sugar |
| 1 | can | (3 1/2oz) angel flake coconut |
| 1 | lbs | cut up dates |
| 2 | cup | chopped nuts |
| 4 | cup | Rice Crispies |
| powdered sugar |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Combine first 4 ingredients and cook for 5 or 6 minutes. Stir often. |
| 2. | Cool 15 minutes & add 2 cups chopped nuts, 4 cups Rice Crispies. Mix well. Roll into small balls & set aside on a tray. |
| 3. | Put powdered sugar in a medium sized paper bag (sealable tupperware works too), drop several balls in & shake until completely coated. Take those out & you are ready to drop more in for a shaking. |
| 4. | Store in a tightly closed tin or jar - makes a great holiday treat. Yields about 100. |
