Recipe Ingredients:
| 2 | cup | brown sugar, firmly packed |
| 1 | cup | sugar |
| 1 | cup | cream (20%) or evaporated milk |
| 2 | Tbsp | light corn syrup |
| 1/4 | tsp | salt |
| 2 | Tbsp | butter |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1/2 | cup | chopped nuts |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan... Stir over medium heat to dissolve sugar. Cook to 234 degrees or until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball. Stir occasionally. |
| 2. | Remove from heat. Add the 2 Tbl butter. Let stand without stirring until bottom of pan is luke warm. (120 degrees). |
| 3. | Add the 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until creamy. Mix in the 1/2 cup chopped nuts. |
| 4. | Pour into greased 8 or 9" square pan. Cool at room temperature. Cut into squares. Makes 36 (1 1/2") pieces. |
