"Santa's Whiskers" Cookies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 3/4 | cup | margarine |
| 2 | cup | flour |
| 3/4 | cup | sugar |
| 1 | Tbsp | milk |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla |
| 3/4 | cup | candied red or green cherries, finely chopped |
| 1/3 | cup | pecans, finely chopped |
| 3/4 | cup | coconut |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Beat margarine with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. |
| 2. | Add about half the flour, the sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat until thoroughly combined. |
| 3. | Stir in remaining flour. Stir in cherries and pecans. |
| 4. | Shape into 8-inch rolls. Roll in coconut. Wrap in wax paper; chill 2 - 24 hours. |
| 5. | Cut into 1/4-inch slices. Place on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375F degree oven 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Cool cookies on a wire rack. Makes about 60. |
