Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1/2 | cup | crunchy peanut butter |
| 3/4 | cup | shortening |
| 1/2 | cup | firmly packed brown sugar |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 1/4 | cup | all purpose flour |
| 1/2 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1/4 | tsp | salt |
| 1 | pkg | (6oz) chocolate chips |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 375F. Beat thoroughly peanut butter, shortening, sugars, egg and vanilla. |
| 2. | Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. |
| 3. | Drop batter 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before removing to wire rack. |
