Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 1/2 | cup | sugar |
| 1 | cup | butter or margarine, softened |
| 1 | egg | |
| 1/4 | cup | water |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla |
| 1 1/4 | cup | all purpose flour |
| 1/3 | cup | cocoa |
| 1/2 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 3 | cup | quick-cooking oats |
| 6 | oz | semi-sweet chocolate chips |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 350F. Mix sugar, butter, egg, water and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. |
| 2. | Drop dough by rounded teaspoonful about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. |
| 3. | Bake until almost no indention remains when touched, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove immediately from cookie sheet. Makes 5 1/2 dozen. |
