Eatmore Cookies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1/2 | cup | butter |
| 1/2 | cup | powdered sugar |
| 1/2 | tsp | vanilla |
| 1 | cup | flour |
| pecan halves | ||
| a scant 1/4 stick of butter (for frosting) | ||
| 1 | cup | powdered sugar (for frosting) |
| a little milk (for frosting) | ||
| a little vanilla (for frosting) |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream butter with sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy (use electric beater). Gradually beat in flour. |
| 2. | Shape into walnut size balls and flatten out with a flat bottomed glass dipped in flour, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325F for 10-15 minutes. (Watch as they can brown easily.) |
| 3. | Frosting: Mix the butter, powdered sugar, enough milk for consistency and vanilla to taste. Frost the cooled cookies. Then place a pecan half on top. |
