Ginger Cookies II
Recipe Ingredients:
| 3/4 | cup | vegetable oil |
| 1 | cup | sugar |
| 1/4 | cup | molasses |
| 1 | egg, beaten | |
| 2 | cup | flour |
| 2 | tsp | baking soda |
| 1/4 | tsp | salt |
| 1 | tsp | cinnamon |
| 1 | tsp | cloves |
| 1 | tsp | ginger |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Cream shortening and sugar; add molasses and egg. |
| 2. | Mix dry ingredients together and add. Mix well. Form into walnut sized balls and roll in sugar. |
| 3. | Bake on greased cookie sheet in 350F (180C) oven for about 15 minutes or until done. You can add raisins to these for an interesting change. Makes about 2 dozen. |
