Mince Apple Pie
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 | 9-inch unbaked pastry shell | |
| 2 | cooking apples, pared and sliced | |
| 6 | Tbsp | unsifted flour |
| 1 | jar | (28oz) mince meat |
| 1/4 | cup | firmly packed light brown sugar |
| 2 | tsp | ground cinnamon |
| 2 | Tbsp | margarine or butter |
| 1/4 | cup | chopped nuts |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 425F. Toss apples with 2 Tbl flour; arrange in pastry shell. Top with mince meat. |
| 2. | In small bowl, combine remaining flour, sugar, and cinnamon; cut in margarine until crumbly. Mix in nuts. Sprinkle over mince meat. |
| 3. | Bake 10 minutes; reduce oven temperature to 350F and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until browned. Serve warm or cold with vanilla ice cream if desired. |
