Creme De Menthe Chocolate Brownies
Recipe Ingredients:
| 1 | cup | granulated sugar |
| 1/2 | cup | butter |
| 4 | eggs, beaten | |
| 1 | cup | flour |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt |
| 1 | tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 | can | (16oz) Hershey's chocolate syrup |
| 2 | cup | confectioners sugar |
| 3 | Tbsp | Creme De Menthe liquor |
| 1/2 | cup | melted butter (for creme de menthe layer) |
| 6 | oz | semi-sweet small chocolate chips |
| 6 | Tbsp | butter (for chocolate glaze) |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter. |
| 2. | Add beaten eggs and blend well. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Blend in vanilla and chocolate syrup. |
| 3. | Pour batter into a greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. |
| 4. | Creme De Menthe Layer: Mix confectioners sugar, creme de menthe and butter. Pour over cooled brownies. |
| 5. | Chocolate Glaze Layer: Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth. Cool for three minutes and spread over mint layer. Chill until ready to serve. |
