Decorative Icing for Gingerbread Houses
This icing is good to decorate gingerbread houses and cookies. It stays soft, so is good for eating too.Recipe Ingredients:
| 3/4 | cup | honey |
| 1/2 | tsp | vinegar |
| 2 | egg whites |
Recipe Instructions:
| 1. | Beat the egg whites. Cook the honey and vinegar to soft ball stage, 238F to 250F. |
| 2. | Pour the honey in a thin stream over egg whites, while beating. Continue beating until the icing stands in soft peaks. Makes enough for 2 gingerbread houses. |
